Sigur Ros - Heima Trailer

This looks like an amazing video. Sigur Ros returns to Iceland to do a number of shows for the locals in theaters ,caves ,schools, and fields, The creativity of Sigur Ros is completely eclipsed by the creativity of God the father in the beautiful landscape of Iceland. To think this is only a tiny morsel of what Heaven will be like. I cannot wait.

Cliff Lewis Concert

Last Sunday night my wife and I had the privilege of going to Cliff Lewis's concert here in Lancaster. Some of you more astute readers will notice I said it was a privilege to attend this concert. That was not a cheap stab in the dark for a triple word score. It was a privilege for a couple reasons.1.) There is something about live music that is powerful. It is one thing to plug some wire and plastic into a wall and get music,(admittedly when I say it like that it is pretty amazing.)But to see music created from the source is something many of us take for granted. If you enjoy music you should support it or it will be gone. 2.) Cliff is an amazing artist and writer. One of the purposes of art and music is to remind us of the things we know but are forgetting, to communicate beauty and reflect that beauty in a way that reminds us that it's still important to us. Obviously there are different levels of skills in communicating this. One of Cliff's favorite things to write about is Theology, or his understanding of how and where he fit's into God's world. Many artists try to convey these thoughts and are frankly not very good at it and that's OK because we all must try to give an account as scripture instructs. But Cliff is excellent at communicating his thoughts for a number of reasons. Primarily because Cliff thinks big thoughts about God. In this way Cliff reminds me that God is big and it is a worthwhile pursuit to know him better. 3.) Cliff's music is so refreshing and not like the music we are force fed. It's your responsibility to discover that on your own. Check out Cliff's My space page. While your at it, Beg Cliff to record his songs and continue to create art because you need it and you want it. Also promise him you will pay for it and support him as he encourages you to think big thoughts about God.
